Netherland banned face covering clothing including Burqa
Netherland banned face-covering clothing including the burqa and niqab worn by conservative Muslim women on public transport, in government buildings and at health and education institutions.
Netherlands latest European country to introduce such a ban , following the likes of France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Denmark.
The affected sectors such as transport and health stated that they will not be able to take the responsibility of the law’s enforcement. The Netherlands has imposed a fine of 150 euros for breaking the law.
